Every session begins with a conversation. We'll talk about what you're envisioning, choose a location that feels right, and go over any details to help you feel prepared. Depending on the type of session, I may send a short questionnaire beforehand so I can learn more about your family, your personalities, and what matters most to you. My goal is to create photographs that feel personal—not posed or one-size-fits-all.

Need help deciding what to wear? I've got you. Whether you're wondering about colors, coordinating outfits without matching, or choosing pieces that photograph beautifully while still feeling like *you*, I'm happy to offer guidance every step of the way.

When your session arrives, don't worry about knowing what to do. I'll gently guide you with prompts and movement rather than stiff poses, while leaving plenty of room for genuine moments to unfold naturally. Some of the most meaningful photographs happen in between the "say cheese" moments—the laughter, the cuddles, the wind in your hair, and the little interactions you didn't even realize were happening.

If you're bringing children, know that they don't have to perform. I follow their lead, embrace their personalities, and allow time for exploring, playing, taking breaks, and simply being kids. As both a photographer and therapist, I've learned that connection always creates better moments than perfection. Some of my favorite images come from letting children be exactly who they are.
